Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and win new work; lead and contribute to proposal development and client presentations
Develop, maintain, and enhance the firm’s market position with clients, regulatory agencies, and industry partners
Build and strengthen relationships with key industry partners to advance market presence
Represent the firm at conferences, seminars, and industry events to increase visibility and brand recognition
Collaborate across practices and geographies to promote cross-selling of services
Maintain awareness of market trends, competitive landscape, revenue potential, and client opportunities across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana
Provide project management oversight and technical leadership for environmental surveying, reporting, and permitting services, with a focus on power sector clients
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams supporting federal, state, local, utility, municipal, and industrial clients
Identify environmental design and regulatory requirements and develop effective permitting strategies aligned with client risk profiles and industry best practices
Establish project objectives, scopes, schedules, and budgets; oversee proposals, planning studies, designs, due diligence, and permitting efforts
Ensure high-quality project execution with attention to scope, cost, schedule, and quality
Grow and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations
Mentor, train, and develop staff; support talent growth and recruitment across disciplines
Uphold company values, health and safety standards, and ethical business practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural sciences, or a related field required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in environmental compliance, natural resource assessments, and permitting
At least 5 years of experience in business development and client relationship management
Strong understanding of project development workflows, environmental regulations, and risk profiles within the ERCOT, MISO, and SPP regions
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities with a focus on efficiency and results
Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Experience reviewing work products for quality, accuracy, and completeness
Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally as required
Valid U.S. driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to pass post-hire drug screening where required by clients
