Responsibilities
Design product experiences that empower artists and their teams to understand, manage, and grow their presence on Spotify
Partner with senior designers to explore, prototype, and refine solutions for artist-facing features
Take ownership of well-scoped projects, making design decisions with mentorship and feedback
Support the evolution of our local design system by extending patterns, auditing existing designs, and documenting best practices
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and data scientists to translate artist needs into clear, usable designs
Participate in critiques and design reviews to grow your craft, strengthen your problem-solving skills, and build confidence presenting your work
Qualification
Required
You're early in your career but excited to grow as a designer, owning larger areas of the artist experience over time
You have strong interaction and visual design craft, with the ability to translate requirements into clear, usable, and engaging designs
You're a collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams and values mentorship and feedback
You think in systems and are curious about how design patterns scale across products and platforms
You're motivated by artist empathy — curious about the music industry and eager to design tools that make a difference
You're adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to balance independent work with paired design
