Responsibilities
Monitor and manage access control, video surveillance, alarms, and other security technologies
Communicate with internal partners using Slack, Jira, and other collaboration tools
Identify, assess, and respond to security alerts and incidents; escalate appropriately
Support emergency notifications and mass communication systems during critical situations
Provide global travel monitoring and situational awareness to help keep employees safe
Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation of all security events and responses
Follow established procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows
Deliver excellent service and support to employees, visitors, vendors, and partner teams
Participate in routine training, drills, and skill development to maintain readiness
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in GSOC, corporate security, protective operations, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Hands-on experience with access control and VMS platforms (e.g., Genetec)
Proficiency with Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, and incident documentation workflows
Experience with emergency mass notification systems and/or AI-enabled security tools is helpful
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure
A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to learn, adapt, and follow protocols with precision
A collaborative, resilient, and team-oriented approach
Preferred
5+ years of experience in GSOC, corporate security, or protective operations
Military, law enforcement, or emergency operations center experience
