The Associate Systems Administrator role is designed for individuals beginning their career in enterprise IT, assisting with the configuration, analysis, and maintenance of core infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities
Assist with system configuration and analysis for Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
Support Microsoft 365 services, including identity management and endpoint security
Participate in design and implementation of security policies under guidance
Develop and maintain basic automation scripts (PowerShell) for administrative tasks
Research and recommend improvements for system performance and security
Document processes and contribute to IT standards and best practices
Provide tier-2 support for escalated technical issues and collaborate on solutions
Participate in infrastructure upgrade projects and emerging technology evaluations
Respond to critical incidents and assist with scheduled maintenance outside regular hours when necessary
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Familiarity with Windows Server environments
Familiarity with Active Directory
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environments
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work with people within every level of the organization
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred)
At least one technical certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals) or equivalent experience
