Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate execution of data center exit and infrastructure consolidation initiatives, including sequencing, dependency management, and cross-team readiness
Drive delivery of on-premise to AWS migration, refactoring, and modernization efforts, partnering with application teams, cloud engineering, and AWS vendors
Support application discovery, dependency mapping, and migration planning to enable safe and efficient decommissioning of legacy infrastructure
Coordinate with security architecture, risk, and infrastructure teams to ensure cloud onboarding, control alignment, and remediation activities are embedded into delivery plans
Translate cloud and data center exit strategies into clear execution plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes
Serve as a key point of coordination between internal teams and external vendors, including cloud service providers
Manage delivery of large, complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple concurrent workstreams
Track and communicate project schedules, metrics, risks, and status to stakeholders at all levels
Anticipate risks and bottlenecks, manage escalations, evaluate trade-offs, and balance business priorities with technical constraints
Ensure adherence to project management standards, processes, and controls
Create clear business requirements, acceptance criteria, and concise written communications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience managing complex technology initiatives
Demonstrated experience with cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, or data center exit programs
Proven ability to coordinate on-premise to cloud (AWS preferred) application migrations, including multiple parallel workstreams
Strong understanding of legacy infrastructure environments, application dependencies, and technical debt
Experience across the full project lifecycle (planning, design, build, test, and implementation)
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; comfortable multitasking in fast-paced environments
Self-starter with the ability to manage upward, make sound decisions, and drive outcomes
High attention to detail with the confidence to engage directly in complex technical challenges
Preferred
PMP or Project Management certification
Financial Services industry experience
