BRANCH ISD is dedicated to providing career and technical opportunities to students. The Tool Room Assistant will be responsible for managing tools and equipment, maintaining inventory records, and assisting in various operational duties within the Tool Room.

Responsibilities

Check tools and equipment in and out of the Tool Room. Inspect to make sure they remain in working condition
Maintain accurate inventory records of tools and equipment
Repair tools and equipment as directed
Maintain the Tool Room clean-up schedule
Maintain work orders and purchase orders
Fill in for Tool Room Manager in their absence
Able to use material handling equipment
Mail run when needed
Assist in Shipping/Receiving when needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Basic computer knowledgeInventory managementMaterial handling equipmentHigh school graduate

Required

current driver's license
basic computer knowledge
in taking inventories and keeping appropriate records
