Review (and occasionally draft) legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Assist in negotiations and litigation processes, leveraging premium skills in negotiation and litigation to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
Utilize strong writing skills to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel
Apply organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced law office environment
Utilize legal administrative experience to support the smooth operation of the law office and assist in case management
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure compliance with legal procedures and ethical standards
Continuously update knowledge of laws and regulations to provide informed legal advice and representation
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in Virginia
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is a plus but not required
North Carolina and/or Maryland bar admission is a plus
