QA Manager and Trainer
CINDER is a staffing and recruiting company focused on creating supportive workplaces. They are seeking a QA Manager and Trainer to lead the quality assurance team, overseeing production quality and implementing rigorous testing processes while developing training programs for QA personnel and manufacturing staff.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the QA team to develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and testing protocols in manufacturing processes
Oversee inspection, testing, and validation activities on the production floor to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
Identify, report, and troubleshoot defects or non-conformities in production, ensuring timely corrective actions
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the QA team’s and manufacturing staff’s knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and process improvements
Conduct workshops, seminars, and hands-on training for production personnel, inspectors, and other relevant staff
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is integrated into every stage of production
Develop workmanship standards to establish clear guidelines for quality, skills, and craftsmanship expected in production
Monitor and analyze quality metrics and production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Stay updated with industry best practices, compliance standards (such as ISO, OSHA), and emerging trends in manufacturing quality assurance and training
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a QA Manager or similar leadership role within manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and testing/inspection methods
Experience with quality management systems (QMS), standards (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.), and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience in designing and delivering technical training programs
Ability to adapt training content to diverse audiences and skill levels
Knowledge of manufacturing software and automation tools
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Certification in QA, Six Sigma, or related standards (e.g., ASQ certifications)
Hands-on experience with inspection tools and equipment
Prior experience in technical training or instructional design within manufacturing
