Responsibilities
Act as a Business Systems Analyst supporting payment processing systems
Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for payment initiatives
Work with stakeholders to understand end-to-end payment flows and business rules
Translate requirements into functional specifications, system design documents, and user stories
Support implementation of payment types such as:
ACH, Wire, RTP (Real-Time Payments)
FedNow
SWIFT / International Payments
ISO 20022 message standards
Perform impact analysis for enhancements and regulatory changes
Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC
Support UAT execution, defect triage, and production validation
Ensure solutions comply with U.S. banking regulations, security, and risk controls
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, reviews)
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Banking or Financial Services
Strong experience in the Payments domain (US payments preferred)
Hands-on knowledge of: ACH, Wire Transfers, RTP / FedNow, SWIFT & Cross-border payments, ISO 20022 messaging
Experience with payment processing platforms and system integrations
Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, User Stories, Process Flows)
Experience working in Agile environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience with core banking systems (FIS, Fiserv, Jack Henry, etc.)
Exposure to fraud, AML, or compliance controls related to payments
Experience with JIRA, Confluence
Prior experience working with U.S. banks or financial institutions
