Responsibilities

Identify and recommend process improvements such as training, customization, automation, and enhancements to maximize the value and efficiency of our client’s payroll/HRIS platform
Build and maintain client relationships in a customer-centric environment
Successfully manage several projects and/or clients simultaneously in a highly organized manner
Create and document standard payroll processing procedures
Work in a virtual team environment or autonomously completing tasks accurately and efficiently
Provide payroll compliance assistance and guidance, as well as communicate best practices
Prioritizes meeting client deliverables and deadlines

Qualification

Payroll/HRIS platform experienceEnd to end payroll processingExcel proficiencyPayroll tax experienceClient relationship managementAttention to detailProblem-solving ability

Required

Experience with any major payroll/HRIS platform (e.g. ADP, Ceridian, Paychex, Paycom, Paycor, Paylocity, Rippling, UKG, or Workday.)
Experience with other payroll/HRIS platforms is a plus
End to end payroll processing
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a payroll specialist or payroll administrator type role
Proficiency in Excel, including creating formulas, Pivot Tables, and the use of VLOOKUP
Attention to detail, comfort with numbers, problem-solving ability, and the ability to operate in a highly confidential setting
Experience with payroll taxes and quarterly/annual reconciliations with the ability to troubleshoot issues resulting in root cause identification
