Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Storage Administrator to lead the design, operation, and optimization of their enterprise storage infrastructure. This role supports mission-critical systems across both legacy and modern storage platforms in a complex, high-availability environment.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize enterprise storage environments

Manage Brocade SAN fabrics including zoning, upgrades, and performance tuning

Support and modernize storage platforms including: 1. Legacy: EMC VMAX, VNX, IBM XIV 2. Modern: Dell EMC PowerMax, Isilon, Pure

Lead storage provisioning, migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management

Troubleshoot complex issues and provide Tier 3/4 support

Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, network, and application teams- Good Communication a must

Drive capacity planning, performance optimization, and architecture improvements

Maintain ongoing documentation for storage environment

Build team expertise through structured knowledge sharing, training and documentation

Required

7+ years of enterprise storage administration experience

Deep hands-on expertise with Brocade SAN and large-scale storage systems

Proven experience in mission-critical, high-availability environments

Strong background in Fibre Channel, multipathing, replication, and storage performance

Experience with VMware, Windows, and Linux storage integrations

Preferred

Vendor certifications (Dell/EMC, Brocade, Pure)

Experience with automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python, Ansible)

Exposure to hybrid or cloud-integrated storage environments
