Sr Engineering Program Manager
Honeywell is a leader in automation and aerospace technologies, and they are seeking a Sr. Engineering Program Manager to lead and manage large engineering projects within the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) organization. The role involves defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables while ensuring efficient project execution and delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates
Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager
Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft project
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics
Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
Contain scope growth though robust baseline change management
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering or technical CAM roles in the Aerospace industry
US PERSON REQUIREMENT: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
Preferred
Experience with CNS products and PE processes
Gold Level EVMS certification
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements
Passion for innovation and continuous learning
Able to travel to customer and internal Honeywell meetings both domestic and international
Advanced degree preferred
