Responsibilities
Contribute to the conceptual, basic, and detailed design of small gas turbine components and sub-systems
Develop complete product definitions, including CAD models, engineering drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)
Conduct advanced component analyses - using finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and other methods - to validate performance and reliability
Provide hands-on support to manufacturing and suppliers: troubleshoot issues, collaborate on problem solving, disposition product deviations, review processes, and implement design improvements
Investigate product issues to identify root causes and define and implement effective corrective actions
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams through precise instructions, specifications, and reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
Practical experience with CAD, GD&T, and CAE fundamentals
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; self-motivated, collaborative, and an effective communicator
Willingness to travel up to 10%
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred
Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, and Siemens NX is a plus
