The Senior Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end close, financial reporting, and data analysis for their Canadian automation entity.

Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments

Manage the month-end and year-end close process in accordance with the Corporate Accounting and consolidation timeline, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies

Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies

Process and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment, including operations, supply chain, and finance

Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and internal controls

Handle large volumes of financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Supports the Corporate Accounting function with identified reporting requirements
