Responsibilities
Support the design and development of trailer-mounted power generation systems
Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of six engineers
Design and develop components for power generators, from concept through production
Perform both new, blank-sheet designs and modifications/redesigns of existing components
Create and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks
Design sheet metal parts and internal mechanical components
Continuously evaluate and improve design approaches, collaboration methods, and engineering workflows
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a Design Engineer
Experience with SolidWorks 2D and 3D
Experience designing sheet metal components
Exp creating BOMs
US Citizen
Preferred
Experience with product development of trailers and trailer systems, generators, or water purification systems
AutoCAD
GD&T experience
Experience in Military or Defense space
