Responsibilities

Ability to develop excellent client relationships and earn their trust though superior problem solving and hard work

Close major system sales through a "top down" consultative selling approach. Beat our competition by providing the best solutions in the industry

Become a thought leader in distribution systems and automation

Assist in pursuing new clients for consulting services

Coordinate with specific resources (software engineers, controls engineers, CAD / Simulation Engineers, etc.) to prepare reports and proposals

Continue to enhance and refine the tools / methodologies we use

Maintain your education on a wide variety of material handling automation and simulation software areas

Provide excellent analysis of customer's operational data used to design superior processes and systems

Provide computer simulation modeling of proposed material handling systems

Build confidence with clients when making formal presentations

Meet with client employees, executives, or other stakeholders to understand the challenges faced by the client organization

Act as the primary client interface on Consulting engagements; oversee a consulting project from inception to completion including:

Budget

Schedule

Scope Management

Deliverables

Customer Satisfaction

Guide the research and analysis conducted by associate consultants and use this information to draw conclusions and develop recommendations including:

Activity profiles and design requirements

Appropriate order fulfillment methodologies, storage media, process design, and material handling technologies/applications

Oversee the development of conceptual design solutions; communicate and transition conceptual designs to Engineering and other Business Units

Develop labor & financial models to evaluate alternative solutions and prepare business case analyses

Prepare materials to describe recommended solutions including description of operations, throughput and storage capacities, business case documentation, etc

Lead in presenting research, findings, deliverables, and recommendations to clients
