Responsibilities

Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with Project Execution contracting strategy
Facilitate preparation of contract exhibits (scope, specifications, pricing, special instructions)
Assist in writing technical contract language
Lead contract negotiations during bidding and formation phases
Manage change order process (log, directives, reviews, approvals)
Review contractor documents/invoices for compliance and manage correspondence/documentation logs
Prepare/transmit company correspondence and meeting notes
Establish/implement contract document control and retention systems
Coordinate contract close-out and support audits
Provide weekly/monthly status updates to management

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline with experience in legal, engineering, construction, and/or contract administration/conformance of construction-related projects (preferably in the gas pipeline industry); OR Associate's degree with a minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Specific knowledge and experience in contracting processes and issues related to energy industry construction projects
Fundamental understanding of contract documents and their utilization
