Responsibilities

Build intuitive, fast interfaces that make complex medical interactions feel simple across web, iOS, and Android
Develop cross-platform applications including React web applications, native iOS and Android apps, and embeddable web products
Create real-time chat interfaces, medical data visualizations, and onboarding flows for patient experience
Design complex forms for medical history and EHR data display, ensuring HIPAA compliance and WCAG standards
Optimize performance for critical patient interactions and implement offline-first architecture

Required

CS degree OR equivalent demonstrated expertise
Related technical degrees welcomed with strong programming foundation

Independent problem solver who collaborates well cross-functionally
5+ years frontend engineering with expertise in React
Production React web applications at scale
Native mobile development (Swift for iOS and/or Kotlin for Android)
Modern JavaScript/TypeScript, state management (Redux, Context)
RESTful API integration and real-time data handling
Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Strong UI/UX sensibility for healthcare applications
Component-based architecture and reusable design systems
Performance optimization for web and mobile
Accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles

Preferred

Applications for healthcare, fintech, or regulated industries
HIPAA compliance requirements for frontend applications
Real-time chat or messaging interfaces at scale
Video/voice communication integration (WebRTC, native APIs)
Embeddable widget or SDK development
Healthcare workflows, patient portals, or medical applications
Seed/Series A experience in healthcare or technology
Advanced degree in CS, HCI, or related field
