Acquisition Program Manager Journeyman
Gemini Industries Inc. provides technical, management and operations services to support National Security projects. They are seeking an Acquisition Program Manager Journeyman to support project management tasks, assist with documentation, and ensure effective program management in coordination with government personnel.

Responsibilities
The Acquisition Program Management Journeyman supports the SAF/OC/CDM/CDMS/CPO capabilities’ portfolio with a full range of project management tasks, in coordination with government program managers and contracting professionals, to include procurement, financial management and planning, administration, security, contracting, and logistics for existing and future programs
The Acquisition Program Management Journeyman assists with the development and maintenance of all project documentation, and coordination of documentation between functional organizations inside and outside SAF/OC/CDM/CDMS/CPO
Per PWS section 1.3.1.1 Project Management/Acquisition Support, and section, and 1.3.2, Acquisition Project Support, specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs DoD systems and non-systems full life cycle program management support, to include but not limited to: acquisition strategy development, requirement documentation development, project management documentation and reports, stakeholder management, monitoring of cost, performance and schedule, and DoD risk management techniques
Supports risk management and process improvement by developing risk mitigation strategies, supports development of courses of action, and documentation
Participates in internal and external SAF/OC/CDM meeting with little supervision
Develops and coordinates responses to internal and external program inquiries
Drafts documentation (e.g., acquisition plans, requirements approval documents, justification and approvals, statement of objectives/statement of work/performance work statements, quality contract data requirements list, assurance plans, etc.); presentation materials (e.g., early strategy and issues sessions, acquisition strategy panel briefings, etc.); and assists in preparation of staff summary packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisions
Supports development of recommendations regarding acquisition strategies, assist with leading multi-functional teams (MFT) through services acquisition processes, documents results from stakeholder engagements pertaining to acquisitions, assists with development of acquisition integrated master schedules from requirement inception through award, and monitor/report progress
Works with other functional areas including contracting, financial management, security, IT, legal, etc. as needed to ensure progress of acquisition documentation and packages
Supports development and coordination of DoDI 5000.02 acquisition and sustainment or Services Category (S-CAT) level I through V milestone planning and reporting documentation
Use government provided Generative AI tools on a day-to-day basis to accelerate research, documentation, analysis, reporting, and problem solving. Continuously adapt to evolving AI capabilities and recommend improvements to processes and practices
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five (5) years of work-related experience
Of those 5 years, a minimum of four (4) years conducting DoD acquisition program management
Experience performing functions with little supervision
Experience analyzing and developing DoD systems and non-systems program management requirements and acquisition strategies
Experience developing and coordinating DoDI 5000.02 acquisition and sustainment or Services Category (S-CAT) level I through V milestone planning and reporting documentation
Ability to work on high-visibility and mission critical taskings independently
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Preferred
PMI-CAPM or Project Management or Contracting Level I certification
Knowledgeable and skilled at applying Generative AI
