This role involves supporting senior living communities with essential accounting functions and serving as a subject matter expert on financial matters.

Responsibilities
Creating general ledger journal entries
Preparing the balance sheet, income statement, A/R and A/P reports, bank reconciliations and reviewing for accuracy and reasonableness
Analyzing, understanding, and reporting any large variations identified in the financial package to management
Collaborating with community and payroll staff on payroll variance reports
Assisting with community audits
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-6 years of accounting experience in a growth environment
An organized approach to work and a keen focus on accuracy with the ability to work independently
Effectively communicate status and progress and deliver results consistently
Preferred
Experience with Yardi or Avid Exchange in a senior living or real estate environment is a plus
