Responsibilities
Architect/Implement: Design complex physical/cloud network solutions spanning GCP/AWS (VPCs, Routing, Security Groups) and on-premise environments. Either GCP or AWS services is fine. This is project work
Automate: Develop and maintain cloud and network infrastructure
Secure & Optimize: Manage firewalls, load balancers (L4/L7), and network security protocols to ensure reliability and scalability
Manage equipment: Configure and maintain routers, switches, and wireless solutions (Juniper, VyOS, Aruba, Ubiquiti)
Qualification
Required
6+ years of engineering with deep expertise in onprem and virtual AWS and GCP networking primitives (especially GCP)
Advanced mastery of BGP, TCP/IP, VPNs, layer 7, and routing/switching logic
Experience bridging cloud environments with physical data centers
Open to learning or know Terraform
Understands deployment: 3 tier web app, db, load balancer (F5)
Preferred
GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer or AWS Certified Networking – Specialty
Background designing/working in data centers (previously)
CCNA certification
