Electrical Engineering Intern
Bloom Energy is a leader in clean and affordable energy solutions. The Electrical Engineering Intern will assist the NPI Automation team in designing and building tools for Engineering and Manufacturing, focusing on documentation, troubleshooting, and hands-on electrical work.

Responsibilities
Documents design - electrical schematics, wiring/cabling diagrams, I/O list. AutoCAD/ DraftSight preferred
Troubleshooting complex automated equipment consists of Allen Bradley PLC, Keyence Vision system, Sensors, and actuators
Hands on in wiring electrical control panel
Configure and setup sensors – no contact displacement sensor, contact switch, IO-Link devices/ smart sensors
Learn and implement basic to intermediate machine vision applications using Cognex / Keyence smart camera
Qualification
Required
Currently a student earning a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automatic Controls or a related discipline
Must be graduating between spring 2026 and August 2027
Preferred
Proficient in electrical schematics
Understanding Fundamental about automated control system/ equipment, sensors, actuators, Electrical safety, Panel design
Hands-on electrical engineer who likes figuring out and solve technical problems
Collaborator: collaborate with Sr. Engineers and technicians to meet project objective
