5+ years expOmiz Staffing Solutions (OSS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to support a client’s enterprise DevOps modernization initiative. This role focuses on building scalable CI/CD pipelines and enabling platform engineering practices in a hybrid cloud environment.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness
Collaborate with platform and application teams to define reusable deployment patterns (canary, blue/green, rollback, etc.)
Assist with toolchain consolidation, including migration from Jenkins, SVN, and Azure DevOps to GitHub
Integrate security and quality tools such as Trivy, SonarQube, and Checkov into pipeline stages
Support DevOps observability metrics aligned to DORA or custom reporting goals
Work closely with internal infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure compliance and scalability
Contribute to 'Hello World' reference architectures and developer onboarding utilities
Participate in internal workshops, demos, and enablement sessions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering
Strong proficiency in GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, and modern Git workflows
Hands-on experience implementing Harness (CI/CD, Feature Flags, or Cloud Cost Mgmt)
Solid understanding of pipeline security (Trivy, SAST/DAST tools, SBOMs, etc.)
Experience with containerization and deployment to environments such as Kubernetes, AKS, or serverless platforms (e.g., Fly.io)
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid (Azure + on-prem) environments
Strong scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Familiarity with compliance or regulatory constraints in enterprise settings (utilities or energy sector a plus)
Preferred
Experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, or other observability platforms
Exposure to FinOps, cloud cost governance, or Harness Cloud Cost Mgmt
