Responsibilities

Program, calibrate and troubleshoot the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and Romer arms. Perform maintenance as necessary
Conduct quality control inspections
Work with quality team to meet manufacturing deadlines
Use leadership and influencing skills to coordinate activities of peers in the inspection department

Qualification

CMM programmingGD&T interpretationBlueprint readingVerisurf softwarePC-DMIS softwarePrecise measurement toolsBasic math skillsLeadership skillsAttention to detail

Required

3-5 years' experience with operating a CMM using Verisurf, PC-DMIS, or other software
Strong blueprint reading skills, including a firm understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
Experience with precise measurement tools, such as caliper, micrometer, pin gage, height gage, dial indicator, Pi tape, deltronic pins, bore gage, optical comparator-angle/distance, fillet gage, radius gage set, surface finish chart, thread gage 2A/2B, profilometer, groove micrometer, blade micrometer, super micrometer
Basic math skills
Attention to detail
Willingness to shift priorities to meet the evolving needs of the business
