Responsibilities
Create lighting layouts, photometric designs, and renderings using AGi32, AutoCAD, or similar tools
Draft pole layouts, fixture placements, and site-specific drawings based on sales input
Compile proposal documents that include photometric layouts, fixture schedules, and bill of materials
Ensure all drawings and documents follow company standards and are accurate for customer review
Maintain up-to-date product files, templates, and design libraries
Enter project details, specs, and BOM information into Salesforce (training provided)
Support the sales team with quick-turn layouts and clean, professional design documents
Occasionally assist with site measurements or project reviews (minimal travel)
Qualification
Required
Drafting Experience: AutoCAD or similar experience preferred
Ability to Learn Software: Comfortable learning AGi32 or other lighting design programs
Detail-Oriented Approach: Strong accuracy and organization in all drawings
Technical Mindset: Able to read site plans, measurements, and basic technical details
Communication Skills: Capable of preparing clean design documents and communicating clearly with sales
Team Player: Enjoys supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
On-Site Requirement: Role is based in Boise for close collaboration with sales and leadership
