Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for contracting requests, assessing complexity and guiding stakeholders through the process
Draft, review, and manage simple contracts independently, including direct negotiations with external parties
Collaborate with legal, compliance, procurement, and business teams on complex contracts, ensuring timely routing and documentation
Maintain compliance with organizational policies and legal standards throughout the contract lifecycle
Perform structured risk assessment on contract terms and propose mitigation strategies; escalate issues to legal or compliance teams when needed
Coordinate internal reviews and approvals across cross-functional teams
Ensure accurate contract storage, archiving, and timely renewals or amendments using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems (e.g., DocuSign CLM, Ironclad, Coupa, or similar)
Support process improvements and operational initiatives to enhance contract management practices

Required

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field; a paralegal certification is a plus
Bring 5+ years of experience in contract management, including drafting and negotiation
Understand standard contract clauses, legal terminology, and formats, with the ability to interpret and apply them accurately
Are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a high volume of contracts with competing priorities
Possess strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to build trust and drive results
Adapt quickly, think analytically, and maintain professionalism under pressure
Have experience using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems for routing, approvals, and repository management
Can perform structured risk assessments on contract terms, identify ambiguities, and propose mitigation strategies to protect organizational interests
