Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an integrated project cost and schedule system
Create procedures for schedule preparation, maintenance, and reporting
Identify all project activities and build logic using the Critical Path Method (CPM)
Implement project control reporting, including risk assessment and earned value analysis
Establish project benchmarks and milestones
Modify logic networks for risk mitigation and contingency planning
Maintain integrated schedules reflecting interdependencies across functions
Review contractor schedules, progress, and productivity; monitor and verify monthly earned value
Analyze critical paths, report variances, and develop work-around plans
Monitor actual progress against baseline and report analysis to project and functional managers
Consolidate data from Engineering, Procurement, and Construction leads to update project schedules and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Participate in weekly schedule reviews and planning meetings
Prepare earned value and variance reports; implement recovery plans as needed
Interface with contractors to ensure accurate integration of task data
Lead planning meetings to highlight upcoming milestones and resolve scheduling issues

Preferred
BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, or project administration
Minimum 5 years in scheduling for small to large downstream projects
Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
Strong knowledge of Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling, and Earned Value Management
Ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources to create effective schedules
Familiarity with refining equipment
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Open to relocation
Advanced scheduling and planning expertise
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical competency in automated and integrated project controls
Ability to develop clear reports and presentations for management
