Responsibilities

Model radio link network performance using existing data
Create tests setup(s) emulating these models
Functional testing and proof of concept
Validation of the test setup(s)

Qualification

Required

Pursuing B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or computer engineering or science degree
1 or 2 years from entering workforce full-time (during time of internship)
Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Basic awareness of IP networking and routing

Preferred

Linux experience
Setting up wireless data networks (WiFi or Point to point)
Software network emulation
Ability to develop Python scripts
Familiarity with network analysis tools like Wireshark, tcpdump and Traffic Control
making or testing or other hands on experience with actual hardware or software; especially personal projects not related to work or school
