Responsibilities

Design, optimize, and support cloud-based data solutions

Required

US Citizen

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

5+ years of experience with relational databases such as: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle

Proven experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) best practices

Preferred

Experience with database management tools for: Backup and recovery, Snapshot management, Sharding and partitioning, Performance tuning

Hands-on experience with GCP database services, including: AlloyDB, Cloud SQL, BigQuery

Experience with data warehousing and data pipelines, including: ETL / ELT processes, Dataflow, Cloud Functions

Familiarity with MLOps and machine learning workflows

Experience with application development and system integration

Strong background in database administration, including: Storage and clustering, High availability and disaster recovery, Security and auditing, Monitoring and logging

Experience developing, deploying, and managing machine learning models

Programming experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Golang
