The role involves architecting scalable integrations between Workday, SAP, and Google Cloud Platform while collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless data flow across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design and own end-to-end integration architecture between Workday, SAP, and downstream enterprise systems
Lead Hire-to-Retire (H2R) integrations including Hiring, Onboarding, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time, and Terminations
Build and manage API-led integrations using Apigee and GCP services (Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, BigQuery, etc.)
Define integration patterns (REST, SOAP, EIB, Studio, middleware, event-driven)
Ensure data security, encryption, and compliance for PII and HR data
Lead Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Web Services implementations
Architect real-time and batch integrations for SAP Payroll, Finance, and reporting systems
Provide technical leadership and guidance to integration developers
Drive performance tuning, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation
Partner with business stakeholders to translate HCM and payroll requirements into technical solutions

Required

10+ years of Enterprise Integration experience
6+ years of Workday Integration (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP)
Strong experience integrating Workday with SAP (HCM, ECC, or S/4HANA)
Hands-on experience with API management using Apigee
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience supporting Hire-to-Retire (H2R) business processes
Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, and Security frameworks
Experience with real-time and event-driven integrations
Ability to design highly scalable and fault-tolerant integration architectures
