ServiceNow Architect

They are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to design and guide the implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, focusing on architecting scalable and secure environments that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Act as the ServiceNow Solution Architect, leading the design and implementation of end-to-end ServiceNow solutions including ITSM, ITOM (CMDB, Service Mapping, CSDM), and ITAM (HAM/SAM)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define ServiceNow architecture vision and roadmap
Oversee customization and configuration of ServiceNow modules, ensuring scalability and adherence to best practices
Architect and guide integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, cloud platforms, and custom APIs
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring consistent, high-quality implementations
Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow environments for performance, usability, automation, and cost efficiency
Establish governance and security processes to ensure compliance, data integrity, access control, and platform stability
Act as a subject matter expert, advising clients on ServiceNow capabilities, architecture decisions, and process automation strategies
Produce detailed solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and implementation guides
Lead ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and enhancements, aligning implementations with new platform releases and features
Drive continuous improvement initiatives as a senior ServiceNow Solution Architect supporting enterprise-scale implementations
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role
Strong expertise in ITSM and ITOM, including CMDB, Service Mapping, CSDM, Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration
Experience implementing ITAM processes, including HAM and SAM, within the ServiceNow platform
Hands-on development experience, including Discovery schedules, patterns, probes, sensors, event rules, and custom scripting
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, MID Server, and external enterprise systems
Proficiency in scripting technologies such as JavaScript, Glide API, PowerShell, Python, Perl, SSH, SNMP, and XPath
Experience with ServiceNow App Engine, custom module development, workflows, reporting, UI configurations, notifications, and data imports
In-depth understanding of platform governance, update sets, version control, and deployment best practices
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and their implementation within ServiceNow
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across teams
Preferred
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Experience with advanced ServiceNow features including Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments
Experience across multiple ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, SAM, and HAM
Proven ability to deliver enterprise-scale solutions as a trusted ServiceNow Solution Architect
