Responsibilities
Installation: Pulling, labeling, and terminating cables (coax, fiber, Cat5/6) for security, AV, fire, and data systems
Assistance: Supporting senior technicians with hardware setup, component assembly, and running wires in walls/ceilings
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing issues in existing low voltage systems
Tools: Hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, cutters), drills, crimpers, voltmeters, tape measures, ladders
Technical: Reading blueprints/schematics, basic computer skills, understanding wiring principles
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong communication, teamwork, physical fitness for varied environments, safety-conscious
Qualification
Required
Experience/understanding with construction environment and low voltage systems
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for daily travel in North Jersey/Bronx and surrounding areas
