They are seeking an RBM Body Technician to start the paint process on cabs, which includes preparing the cab for prime, applying body filler, and maintaining tools and work areas.

Responsibilities
Clean cab using a wax/grease remover
Inspects cab for defects and document in build book
Sand area to be body filled, clean with wax and grease remover, and tape off areas needing protection from excess filler
Apply body filler to required areas with a plastic spreader
Remove excess filler and shape/sand body filler to a quality finish
Maintain tools and work area
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED required
Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books
Able to read and understand a tape measure accurately
Able to follow written and verbal directions
Able to communicate effectively and professionally in a team environment
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process
Able to identify quality issues, recognize changes within the production process, and adjust as needed
Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines
Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all
Driving- license
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends occasionally
Overtime as needed to meet the needs of the department
Travel- Local
Preferred
Associate degree in autobody preferred
2+ years of experience in autobody preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred
