Responsibilities
Support external financial audits and respond to audit inquiries, particularly in areas requiring Japanese communication
Coordinate and support group consolidated financial statement audit processes, including communication with the parent company
Develop budget proposals and support budget planning activities
Prepare, analyze, and report various accounting and financial data to the General Manager (GM)
Support transfer pricing compliance and initiatives
Manage cash flow and oversee related purchasing / ordering controls
Collaborate with department managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and financial transparency
(Future scope) Potential involvement in payment processing and settlement operations
Qualification
Required
Solid knowledge of accounting, finance, and taxation
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities
Knowledge of trade / import-export business practices
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with managers, teams, and leadership
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in audit support and/or consolidated financial reporting
Experience with transfer pricing-related processes
Business-level Japanese (required for parent company communication); English proficiency for internal reporting and coordination
Experience working in an international or multinational environment
