Michigan State University College of Engineering is seeking an Office Assistant IV to join their Office of the CIO Administrative Support team. This role will provide administrative support to executive directors, staff, and students, maintaining departmental records, coordinating meetings, and assisting with financial processing.

Responsibilities

Maintain departmental records, directories and reports

Coordinate and order departmental supplies and maintain vendor accounts for departmental purchases

Process and track financial requests including the use of a purchasing card

Coordinates meeting rooms, office keys and general facility requests

Provide general office assistance in support of department operations

Provide reception services in the Office of the CIO

Required

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical school or related field

Experience in word processing, editing and composing correspondence, and maintaining spreadsheets and/or databases

An equivalent combination of education and experience
