Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Data Quality Analyst for a large, established organization. This position offers a chance to take ownership of enterprise data governance and observability platforms, ensuring data assets are accurate and properly cataloged.

Responsibilities

Administer and configure data governance and observability platforms such as Monte Carlo and Atlan

Ingest and maintain enterprise data sources across platforms

Ensure accurate cataloging, classification, and metadata tagging of datasets

Monitor data quality, lineage, and compliance with governance standards

Manage platform access, service accounts, and configurations

Produce metrics, reporting, and insights from governance tools

Partner with engineers, data scientists, and business users to support tool adoption

Develop and maintain documentation, guidance, and training on governance platforms

Align operational execution with enterprise data governance strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

4–6+ years in data operations, data governance, analytics support, or platform administration

Hands-on experience with data governance or observability tools (Atlan strongly preferred; Monte Carlo, Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Talend, BigID acceptable)

Exposure to cloud-based data environments (GCP or Azure preferred)

Understanding of data concepts including schemas, metadata, lineage, and quality

Proven experience managing datasets, metadata, and platform configurations

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, analysts, and senior stakeholders
