Responsibilities
Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently
Collect, review, and organize client financial documents (W-2s, 1099s, prior returns, receipts, etc.)
Communicate with clients via phone, email, or video to clarify tax-related questions
Maintain confidentiality and uphold IRS regulations and ethical standards
Schedule and conduct appointments with clients virtually or in person (if applicable)
For new preparers - work under the guidance of senior preparers or trainers during the learning phase
Qualification
Required
Must have (or be willing to obtain) a valid PTIN before filing returns
Ability to read and follow detailed instructions
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Professional communication and customer service skills
Preferred
Experienced preparers: At least one prior season preparing individual or business returns preferred
New preparers: Training and support provided - must be eager to learn and ask questions
