Comprehensive review of collateral and all property elements

Ensure portfolio and investor compliance

Ensure credit policy and procedures are followed

Generate self employed income through tax return analysis

Clearly document underwriting decision

Prepare customer commitments to be issued detailing additional conditions

Required

Demonstrated strong knowledge of underwriting self employed individuals

Demonstrate full knowledge of collateral and appraisal understanding and have experience with unique properties

Full knowledge of condominiums and cooperative lending

Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

May be required to lift loan files up to 10 pounds

High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of five years non-conforming/portfolio underwriting experience

Preferred

Associate's Degree preferred
