DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to design software tools and subsystems that support software reuse and domain analyses. The engineer will analyze vulnerabilities within the Enterprise IT/IC GovCloud security tool suite and manage the implementation of solutions.

Responsibilities

Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools

Estimates software development costs and schedule

Develop and deploy applications in a cloud environment

Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques

Formulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer

Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel

Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products

Required

Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph

Strong Python development skills

A minimum of 5 years of Python experience the past 5 years

AWS Experience, Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker

Library Development/Maintenance

Experience in several of the following areas: statistical analysis, data mining, advanced analytics, data management, machine learning, or artificial intelligence

Experience with developing cyber security related analytics

Experience with running analytics against large data repositories

Work with SMEs to identify relevant information from data sources

Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field

Active Security + or IAT level II certification equivalent
