Electronics Mechanical Design Engineer
ALSO is an electric mobility company focused on creating innovative light electric vehicles. The Electronics Mechanical Design Engineer will design electromechanical actuators and collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems into vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test onboard connectivity electronics for integration into light electric vehicle platforms
Create and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for components and assemblies, ensuring design for manufacturability
Collaborate with electrical engineers to define electromechanical interfaces, integrate PCBAs, flex circuits, and wire harnesses into electromechanical systems, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including FEA and physical testing, to validate design performance and ensure compliance with specifications
Prototype and iterate on designs using hands-on fabrication techniques in a lab environment, rapidly turning concepts into functional prototypes
Work closely with contract manufacturers to oversee the production of components, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications for mass production processes like stamping, forging, casting, and injection molding
Participate in the product launch process, providing technical support and ensuring smooth transition from development to production
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in the design and development of electromechanical systems, particularly those involving wireless communications and audio features
Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA preferred) and 2D drafting
Experience with PCBA / flex integration, connector selection and wire harness design
Hands-on experience in prototyping and fabrication techniques, including machining, 3D printing, and assembly
Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles and experience with mass production processes (stamping, forging, casting, injection molding)
Experience in product launch and working with contract manufacturers
