Responsibilities
Oversee, mentor, and train a team of 6 to 10 employees in the Quality Assurance department
Provide technical information to employees and secondary processors
Conduct quality system training and maintain qualification records for employees
Research and develop commercial grade dedication plans for new items
Determine testing and inspection requirements for various standards, including commercial grade dedication and military specifications
Review and evaluate material specifications, ASME Code, customer specifications, and engineering drawings to ensure compliance
Ensure all required quality tests and inspections are conducted and evaluate their results
Prepare and issue customer certifications while reviewing and approving vendor, material certifications, and internal quality documentation
Qualification
Required
Experience in a Quality Assurance Leadership role
Proficient in conducting quality audits
Preferred
Preferred experience includes working with steel applications, raw steel materials, piping, fasteners, machined parts, or comparable mechanical components
