The Day Shift Laser Tracker Inspector III will be responsible for setting up, operating, and performing data analysis for laser tracking and inspections of aerospace components, ensuring quality and safety in space exploration.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible to setup, operate, and perform data analysis for: laser tracker; Romer arm; manual layout using design data to inspect machined and received components

Perform inspections on tooling

Perform first article, in-process, final and receiving inspections

Provide feedback to machinists and engineers with dimensional data

Document, track and complete discrepancy reports

In addition, there will be times that you will need to provide inspection time estimates

Maintain and track all inspection equipment calibrations

Support process improvement initiatives

Maintain configuration control on files and job records

Safely work within an industrial environment

You will be required to work independently without the direct oversite of more experienced inspectors
