Confidential is a private, fast-growing, national residential services company. They are seeking a talented, hands-on financial leader responsible for setting up the infrastructure for a full accounting and finance department and managing strategic finance efforts.

Responsibilities

Develop best practices for the accounting department as well as performance measures that support current and future business needs while maintaining the current corporate culture
Develop and manage a cash flow forecasting and planning process through daily and weekly cash management
Supervise and build the accounting department to ensure the completion of accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including supporting the budgeting process
Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies
Serve as a key point of contact for external accountants, tax advisors, and the ownership team
Collaborate in the creation of yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth
Corporate-level financial planning and analysis to include company budget, dashboards, metrics, and KPI’s
Oversee Accounts Payable process and appropriate approvals

Required

7+ Years progressive accounting experience, exposure to job costing preferred
Detailed, hands-on operator possessing the skills and passion to thrive in a fast-growth, family-oriented culture environment
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence
Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to support a position with facts and analysis, maintain up-to-date written documentation
Ability to work remotely until the office is established and then hybrid
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
