Responsibilities

Develop business rules and user requirements for financial systems. Works on multiple projects as a team member and may also lead projects. May coach junior level technical staff

Develops, evaluates and maintains systems that help process and report toll transactions data accurately and effectively

Requires technical expertise in reviewing and updating processes to meet changing business unit conditions, project management, and business system requirements with knowledge of industry best practices and procedures

Assists in the development and implementation of financial controls that will ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements

Prepare status reports on projects to management

Lead end-to-end business process analysis and redesign for financial system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations

Translate accounting and finance requirements into clear, actionable system and process specifications

Ensure financial systems support GAAP, regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements

Provide subject matter expertise on accounting workflows, financial controls, and data integrity throughout system implementation

Document current-state financial processes and systems, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and design future-state solutions

Develop and implement standardized, scalable financial processes aligned with enterprise strategy

Define process performance metrics and reporting to measure effectiveness post-implementation

Plan and support transition activities, including knowledge transfer, process change management and user adoption

Serve as a lead or senior contributor on large, complex, enterprise-wide financial system projects

Partner with Finance leadership, Accounting, IT, external vendors, and auditors to ensure alignment and successful delivery

Support project planning, prioritization, risk management, and issue resolution

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and project team members

Advise leadership on future-state financial systems, emerging technologies, and process improvement opportunities

Participate in continuous review of financial processes to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and regulatory changes

Contribute to financial process engineering roadmaps and integration with corporate strategic plans

Required

8-10 years of progressive experience in system integrations

Demonstrated expertise in financial systems and accounting principles

Familiarity with GAAP and compliance

Proven experience with ERP systems

Proficiency in using Excel for data entry, analysis and reporting

Strong analytical skills, with a track record of using data analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing detailed reports and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field

US Citizens or Green Card Holders only

Must have lived in the US for the past 5 years
