Responsibilities
Perform technical planning, architecture development, and specification updates for the cloud environment
Design and implement cloud landing zones using infrastructure as code
Develop reference architectures that meet security, resiliency, and compliance requirements
Design observability solutions and define service-level objectives with alerting and operational runbooks
Integrate identity, access management, and secrets management solutions into the cloud architecture
Partner with database and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, performant, and reliable data connectivity
Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation
Qualification
Required
Eight or more years of enterprise cloud architecture or engineering experience on a major cloud platform
Hands-on experience designing and delivering at least one successful cloud re-platforming or migration
Strong experience with cloud networking including virtual networks or VPCs, subnets, private connectivity, routing, and perimeter security controls
Experience integrating enterprise identity and access management and secrets management services
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using modern templating tools
Proven ability to produce reference architectures that pass security review and support production go-live
Experience designing cloud landing zones and enterprise architectures
Experience with database platforms and data-tier architectures including encryption and disaster recovery patterns
Experience supporting migration cutover, rollback readiness, and operational transition
Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders across teams
