Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple assigned projects including scheduling, upholding merchandising standards, managing expenses and following safety guidelines
Manage direct reports including interviewing, hiring, corrective action and performance development
Conduct regular reviews with technicians and drive employee development to close performance gaps
Ensures specialists are using approved tools in a safe manner and following all safety guidelines
Maintain clean, professional and safe workspaces
Develop and maintain pertinent partnerships in support of driving business results

Qualification

Merchandising experienceLeadership experienceConsumer electronics experiencePerformance developmentTeam management

Required

6 months of consumer electronics or retail experience
Ability to travel up to 75% of the year
Eligibility to maintain a Best Buy corporate travel card in good standing

Preferred

1 year of experience as a leader in business, military or other fields
2 years of experience in merchandising, media or functionality
