MAN-25-00022-Deburr - Bench Technician
Kimco Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a Deburr Bench Technician to support aerospace structural component manufacturing. The role involves performing precision grinding, deburring, and surface finishing on CNC machined metallic parts while ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Utilize hand and pneumatic grinding and deburring tools to grind, deburr, and polish metallic aerospace components
Perform edge breaking, surface mismatch correction, and surface finish preparation on CNC machined parts
Occasionally operate industrial band saws or other approved power tools to remove non part features such as tooling tabs or excess material
Verify surface finish requirements at part specific locations per customer specifications and internal quality standards
Maintain dimensional integrity of parts throughout the grinding and deburring process
Partner with Quality personnel to support First Article Inspections for new parts and new production lots
Use specialized grinding and deburring equipment for special projects or customer approved audited processes when required
Follow all safety procedures including required use of ear protection, eye protection, and shop coats
Maintain strict adherence to Foreign Object Debris control, 6S practices, and material traceability requirements
Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards throughout the deburring process
Reference internal documentation to verify approved surface finishing methods and ensure accuracy
Utilize job travelers and routers to document work completed and update manufacturing records in the ERP system
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to safely and effectively use pneumatic tools including orbital sanders, disc grinders, files, and band saws
Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per shift
Frequent use of hands and arms to handle tools and parts
Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Ability to lift and move up to 25 to 40 pounds as required
Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment
Preferred
Previous aerospace, CNC, or machine shop experience preferred
General understanding of aerospace quality systems including AS9100 preferred
Basic knowledge of ITAR compliance preferred
Familiarity with CNC machining environments and metallic part manufacturing
Experience using ERP systems and manufacturing travelers preferred
