Apply the scientific and engineering principles of bioengineering and biomechanics to investigate incidents involving claimed injuries/fatalities due to an event
Analyze and evaluate the technical and scientific aspects of incidents, injuries, and medical device failures
Write clear, scientifically sound reports
Provide expert testimony
Qualification
Required
You have a Ph.D. in an engineering discipline
You have a B.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited University
You have 5+ years of bioengineering/biomechanics experience, post-doctoral work, involving human body motion or injury research
You can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
You have excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
You are willing to travel about 20% on average
You have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive
Preferred
Your Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) experience is a plus
Prior forensic experience is not required. We seek professionals eager to apply their deep industry knowledge to a challenging new domain
