Responsibilities
Work a group of delinquent accounts via our automated dialer system either through inbound or outbound with the primary goal of negotiating payment arrangements to bring the account current
Document all actions taken on account within system of record
Service accounts as needed; submit service requests, complaints and update addresses, telephone numbers and emails
Actively participate in coaching and development sessions/trainings to co-create solutions that enhance individual performance and overall department/team performance
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2+ years collection or relevant experience
Education in lieu of experience
High school graduate
Basic computer skills - Knowledge of Windows including Word and Excel
Strong communication skills - Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas to peers and customers
Strong listening skills - Ability to listen and understand direction
Strong negotiation skills – Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial arrangements with the customer
Strong problem solving and soft skills – Ability to research and solve account issues while deescalating when necessary
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
