The role involves maintaining the Quality Management System, leading root cause analysis, and coaching teams on quality standards and best practices.

Responsibilities
Maintain and support the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, industry standards, and customer requirements
Review and approve quality records, including WPS/PQRs, welder qualifications, inspection reports, and material traceability documentation
Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions, verifying effectiveness and driving sustainable improvements
Analyze quality metrics (scrap, rework, NCRs, customer complaints) to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Manage nonconforming material processes and support disposition and NCR activities
Coach and mentor quality technicians, inspectors, and production teams on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices
Support internal, customer, and third-party audits and ensure timely and effective closure of findings
Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, suppliers, and customers to align quality expectations and prevent defects
Qualification
Required
Experience in a manufacturing or quality-related role
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and codes
Working knowledge of nonconformance management, inspection plans, and quality documentation
Preferred
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, API, AWS, and related industry standards
Experience with root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, RCFA)
Experience supporting or delivering training in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with supplier and customer quality requirements
